Reflecting on notions of tradition and contemporaneity, ethereal potential and tangible sensuousness are explored in an international context. In close collaboration with skilled Japanese craft-artisans, a unique handmade multicultural aesthetic occurs.

Traditional craft- and textile methods are investigated and integrated with contemporary elements, forming modern tactile interpretations. Intertwining historic and modern perspectives, new expressions arises through analogue and digital techniques, leading to 2D and 3D artworks. Handpainted gradients on subtle washipaper allows for a poetic light in the lantern artworks. Bespoke patterns tells colorfull stories on digitalprinted silk.
